I made it. Today I hit the 75 minute run mark and it felt good. As long as I an keep my pace for the next 2 weeks I think I will be ready for The Ramble Run 12K on May the 7th.
I tracked my April run times. They really aren’t all that consistent because I sometimes find it difficult to make time to get my runs in when I am working 40+ hours a week. Nevertheless, I reach my goal!
Here are my April times:
April 7th – 65 minute run
April 8th – 35 minute run
April 9th – 30 minute run
(life got busy)
April 14th – 35 minute run
April 19th – 30 minute run
April 21st – 50 minute run
April 23rd – 75 minute run

Side note: I really have no idea how to measure how “far” I’m running because I usually run on trails and without a measuring device. So, I am estimating that a 75 minute run will be at least 7.2 miles or 12K.
