Welcome Home!

Yes! I am posting twice in one day. Only because I am SO excited and we’re almost at the end of our “building phase” so I want to make sure we’ve documented as much as possible.

We’ve packed a few boxes this weekend and Matthew and are I ready to fall in love with our new home.

I snagged a few pictures this afternoon and I thought I would share:

Here is our front porch light. I love the speckled glass.


We’re still waiting on the carpet and obviously the floors are still under construction but I love how this room opens up into the kitchen.

 

And we got the first glimpse of our new kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops.
I’m really impressed with how well these turned out.

Here’s a close up of the granite.  I think a blue/grey wall color will bring out the bold color of the cabinets.

Finally I am documenting for the records the marking of our underground electrical wiring just in case we get the urge to dig we’ll know where not to break ground.
